Is the Android G1 Precise Enough At GPS?

Image via WikipediaNow, that T-Mobile in Germany has officially named GPS-Navigation as a main function, I would like to know, if the GPS in the Android G1 is precise enough for Geocaching and exact locations.

Normal car navigation system are generally not precise enough, or don't show the coordinates at all. For Geocaching, or very precise locations, you need an exactness of less than 5 meters. This can only be achieved with receiving a high number of satellites and support of WAAS/EGNOS.

Anyone knows if the G1 uses WAAS/EGNOS, and if the precision is better than 5 meters on perfect conditions?
